Available Species

Our Ocean Grown Raw Sea Moss may include one or both of the following naturally occurring species depending on seasonal harvests.

Cottonii (Kappaphycus alvarezii)

• Thick, fleshy branches
• Excellent for preparing sea moss gel
• Often referred to as "Gold Sea Moss"

Spinosum (Eucheuma denticulatum)

• Fine, branching structure
• Naturally mineral rich
• Often recognized for its green or purple appearance depending on the season

Because sea moss is a natural marine plant, color, shape, and species may vary with each harvest. These natural variations are a reflection of authentic ocean-grown sea moss and do not affect our commitment to quality.

Preparing Your Sea Moss

1. CLEAN + SOAK
Rinse sea moss thoroughly and place in a glass bowl with enough spring water to fully cover it. Soak for 6–24 hours. Fresh lime may be added during soaking if desired. Change water 1–2 times during the soaking process.

2. DRAIN + BLEND
Drain and rinse soaked sea moss, then blend with fresh spring water until smooth. Add water gradually to achieve your preferred consistency.

3. STORE
Transfer prepared gel into a clean glass jar and refrigerate. Best used within 2–3 weeks.

Daily Use

1–2 tablespoons daily.
